Tips - Make friends and Keep Them

Remember that many people are as shy as yourself :

The majority will be happy that you show an interest in them. They will respond to friendliness

Do not think about you are doomed to loneliness

Have one or two interests that will keep you busy, and give yourself a chance to meet people and make friends

Do not think about your troubles and your self all the time:

Be more interested in the rest of the world. This is a necessary condition for physical and mental health. People who think about themselves most of the time will be unhappy. Nor will they be liked by others.

Do not expect interest and sympathy from everyone:

Do you really need it? You can live a happy and full life even if some people dislike you.

Learn to Relax:

Every time you feel strained, nervous and tense, make it a point to relax your body consciously. This will relax your mind and soothe your nerves.

Remember that the majority of the people are too busy to be watching you or criticizing you:

You may feel or fear that the others are watching you or speaking ill of you. Most of the time, this is not true. Like yourself, they have themselves and their own affairs to worry about.

Avoid worrying about the impression you make on people:

If you are painfully anxious to please everybody, you will never enjoy life. Moose people do not even notice the little defects in your looks dress or behaviour. Besides have you ever asked yourself what could happen if you did not impress the other? Certainly nothing terrible would happen. And yet, some of you make yourselves miserable by constantly worrying about the impression you make on others.

Do not make it a habit to complain to your friends:

Constant complaining can bore anyone. If you enjoy being the person you are, try to see the brighter aspects of life and you will be a happier person. You will radiate joy and people will like having you around.

Have a few reliable friends :

Not all our acquaintances will be close friends. It is more rewarding to have a few reliable and trustworthy friends than to have a crowd of unreliable gossip lovers.

I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you

I'm sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with everyday
And all the pain I put you through
I wish that I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
Thats why I need you to hear

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is You [x4]

I'm not a perfect person
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you

I've found a reason to show
A side of me you didn't know
A reason for all that I do
And the reason is you
